Overview of the book
The grandfather thought long and hard, trying to understand what was happening around him, to decipher his grandson's motives, and to understand the reasons for his hatred of the porter, but his efforts were in vain. He drew closer to his grandson, exchanging words here and there, asking small questions and then more complex ones, moving from induction to broader conclusions. The grandfather touched upon some of the truth, then unveiled the whole truth.
